Circumcision

There are no mohels in Austin that I recommend. There are mohels in San Antonio, Dallas, and Houston. The San Antonio and Houston mohels offer in-home circumcisions in Austin area on a limited basis, but it is very expensive. They can sometimes offer a few hundred dollars off of the full cost if they are able to do several circumcisions in one trip to Austin. Clients may travel to their offices for the procedure for about half the cost. There are also some local pediatricians who perform circumcisions. Please ask me if you need personalized recommendations and I will be happy to discuss your needs.

The Alamo Mohel – based in San Antonio. $650 for in office (usual in-office price is $750, but he offers a discount to midwife clients so please mention you are a midwife client when you book with him), and approximately $1200-$1500 for home visit in Austin area, subject to his availability. You may call or text him when you deliver to see if he has availability for an in-home circumcision in the next few weeks.

Easy Circumcision – based in Dallas. Does not offer home visits in Austin area

Mohel Circumcision – based in Houston. Approximately $700-$800 for in office, and $1200-$1500 for home visit in Austin area
